FINE MODEL GRIS BRUMA
Kitchen in parallel with the living room
The space chosen to materialize this idea was an old hardware store, located in the heart of the city’s historic center. The premises, divided into two floors connected by an interior staircase, met all the conditions to create the calm and peaceful atmosphere that the luthier desired for his day-to-day life. The project began with a profound intervention aimed at defining and organizing the spaces. Thus, after the renovation, the entrance to the loft is through a large folding metal door, which leads to a large hall. From here, through the doors of a wrought-iron window, you can directly access the day area, a diaphanous and multipurpose room where the living room, kitchen with island and workshop form a completely open environment. The ground floor also houses an office and a bathroom, while the mezzanine has been occupied by a suite.
The interior design, based on the simplicity of a chromatic palette dominated by light tones and balanced with notes of wood, has managed to create a bright, serene, pleasant and very welcoming environment. The equipment has been designed in coherence with this basic canvas, carefully assessing the aesthetic and functional weight of each element to create practical and comfortable spaces, where people can interact and move freely.
Gray kitchen with island and bar
The day area has been articulated from a large kitchen with island located in the center of the floor. To equip it, a FINE model by Santos in a Gris Bruma finish has been chosen which, with the design of clean lines and simple shapes, integrates naturally into the interior design of the home. The furniture has been organized in parallel, giving prominence to a large island that functions as a transitional element between the different spaces of the day area.
The furniture has been arranged in parallel, giving way to a large island that acts as a transitional element between the different spaces in the day area.
The island brings together the preparation and cooking areas, with a Santos countertop in compact laminate with a White Marble finish and electrical sockets next to it. The work surface, extended to one side of the furniture and supported by a curved metal leg in a Black Aluminum finish, is transformed into a versatile and practical bar. The smoke extraction has been solved with a hood on the ceiling which, by avoiding visual obstacles, contributes to achieving a more relaxed atmosphere.
The island offers multiple organization and storage options, all easily accessible thanks to the discreet linear handles that run along the fronts. Thus, six large modules equipped with interior drawers and full-extraction drawers with large capacity are distributed between the two sides. The interior drawers have a modular base designed to incorporate accessories such as knife racks, cutting boards or spice racks, specially designed to optimize their capacity and promote customization. The drawers are also complemented with accessories that help organize the contents, such as the silverware with positionable wooden pivots, the dividers or the wooden container drawers.
The rest of the kitchen furniture has been organized in a linear system that, running parallel to the island, brings together low modules, a shelf area and tall cabinets. The former make up the washing area, with a Santos countertop in the same finish as the island. The wall that rises above the worktop has been equipped with a system of panels and shelves in a White Marble finish, designed to accommodate containers and kitchen utensils.
The composition incorporates two exclusive LED lighting systems: a profile integrated into the lower part of the upper shelf, which projects indirect light onto the panel, and another installed under the lower shelf, which provides supporting light onto the worktop. The latter includes sockets for connecting small appliances, and a channel for arranging practical accessories such as the roll holder, the support with a multi-purpose jar, the knife holder or the spice rack. The channel has been customised in a White Marble finish, to give the set greater aesthetic uniformity.
The furniture line is completed with a series of column cabinets designed to integrate the refrigerator, store cleaning utensils and store crockery or utensils on adjustable shelves and drawers. This area includes a retractable cabinet with oven, three interior drawers, a shelf with backlighting and an auxiliary work area with a counter, lighting profile and sockets. The doors of this versatile module are temporarily hidden on the sides, which makes it easier to access the entire space. Its interior has been customized with the Bruma Grey finishes, applied to the sides and shelves, and White Marble, present on the fronts, back and countertop.
