FINE MODEL MINK SILK GREY LAH
Kitchen with island, table and sideboard
Big occasions deserve big spaces and big spaces require adequate equipment. This is the basic idea that inspired the renovation of this holiday home. The result is that the kitchen with island has become this large desired space, capable of transforming any gathering around the table into a big occasion.
The spaciousness of the space allows for a large kitchen equipped with a central island, which is located right between the storage area and the dining room. The furniture designed by Santos captures the classic essence of kitchens before, adapting it to current needs. Therefore, the furniture harmonizes without any problem with a rustic architecture, defined by thick stone walls and wooden beams. The table and sideboard are twinned by sharing the use of natural oak to build it, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Everything accessible, organized and in sight
The island houses the washing, preparation and cooking areas, as well as a side bar and multiple storage and organization options. The drawers on the upper level of the island are equipped with removable and interchangeable accessories such as divisions for cloths, for notes, cookbooks, cutlery, spice racks, etc. On the intermediate level, the plater accessory, with a moisture-resistant plywood base and positionable wooden pivots, allows you to store dishes safely. The separating boxes, which can be combined to suit the users’ wishes, are a simple solution for containing, organizing and removing them.
Additional work area
The column cabinet with retractable doors offers great capacity for storing utensils and food. Its fronts are hidden on the sides of the cabinet, which includes a work area with lighting and very useful power outlets for small appliances. It is the ideal place to prepare breakfast, coffee at any time, smoothies, etc. At the bottom of the column cabinets, the interior drawers facilitate organization and access to the contents. The grain maintains its continuity across the entire front of the column area, generating a natural and harmonious appearance of additional work
Ambient light source
The dining area has a large display case with display cases at the top, and an interior lighting system for shelves that transforms it into an indirect ambient light source. Its base units contain three drawers, prepared to receive utilities specific to the dining area: divisions for cutlery, location for serving trays, tablecloths and napkins, etc.
