MODEL FINE BLACK SILK LAH

Parallel kitchen attached to the living room

The parallel kitchen, living room and dining room share an open and diaphanous space, which facilitates communication and movement between the rooms. A large sliding glass door isolates the kitchen when necessary, without losing light or visual connection. The living room communicates with the garden and the horizon through a similar solution. Thus, when both divisions are open, the atmosphere, the moment and the outside light reach the kitchen.

The house, located in a rural environment, is a good example of harmony between different styles and materials. The arrangement of the kitchen furniture in two parallel lines favors the entry of natural light and ensures that everything is one step away when cooking. The Santos kitchen furniture, with its stylized shapes, contribute to generating a comfortable and interactive space, which responds to the most current lifestyles. The black fronts, with a super matte finish and a soft touch, give character and personality to the living room. The wood, present in the glued laminated fir ceilings and beams, as well as in the oak parquet, contributes to creating a homogeneous, warm and very welcoming atmosphere.

Everything in its place and within reach

In the kitchen, organizing does not only mean that each element occupies a certain place, but that it is within reach when needed. The design of Santos kitchen furniture starts from the study of work flows and rhythms, seeking to offer efficient and functional solutions. The large capacity drawers, equipped with removable and interchangeable accessories, facilitate the organization and placement of the contents. The sink, made of plywood boards and adhesives resistant to water and humidity, groups recycling buckets and an interior drawer for storing cleaning utensils.

Light, an essential ingredient in the kitchen

Two LED sources are used to illuminate the work area. One is located at the bottom of the front of the wall units, providing continuous, homogeneous and glare-free light. Another is integrated into the panel in a profile to support the electrical sockets and wooden accessories for this area: roll holders, container shelves, etc.

Integration and discretion

The tall cabinets, located parallel to the kitchen work area, integrate ovens, refrigerator, freezer, plate warmer and practical service modules in a compact and organized space. The resources for integrating appliances and storage solutions ensure discretion, a key factor in a kitchen open to the common areas of the house. The difficult-to-reach space under the oven is solved thanks to three levels of fully extractable internal drawers, with soft and silent opening and closing.
